Boomer
BOOMER is the roster's monument to “OK Boomer” — the two-word generational shrug that became 2019's most efficient argument-ender, and the meme that turned an entire demographic label into a reaction.
Origin
“Boomer” as light generational ribbing brewed on forums for years — including the ironic “30-year-old boomer” Wojak of 2018, a Monster-drinking suburban-dad archetype. The phrase “OK Boomer” then detonated in 2019 via TikTok, as Gen Z's all-purpose reply to condescension from elders.
Rise
The meme peaked in November 2019 when a young New Zealand MP deployed “OK Boomer” on the parliamentary floor to dismiss a heckler — instantly canonized in headlines worldwide. Debates about ageism, merchandise wars and op-ed panics followed, which is to say: the meme worked perfectly. “Boomer” has since settled into the language as a mindset rather than a birth year — anyone can be a boomer about anything, especially new technology, and most especially crypto.
Connections
BOOMER is the patriarch of the Wojak generational line — Zoomer is his taunting grandchild, Doomer and Bloomer his moodier descendants — and every Normie is one bad take away from boomerdom.
In BomberMeme
BOOMER fights as an epic A-tier Veteran hero of the Classic arena — BACK IN MY DAY signature, old-school aim, unsolicited advice. Still top-fragging. On the Solana roster he is the reminder that the meme wars have elders, and the elders remember dial-up.
